How Do I Meet People?

Hopedale is not a place for spectators but rather a place for people to use their talents, skills, and gifts to impact the lives of others. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of life changing ministry. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Hopedale.

Sunday School

We meet for bible study we call Sunday School at 9:45 am each Sunday.  Sunday School is for all ages and is the largest ministry at Hopedale.  It is a place for you to better understand God’s word and a place to develop lasting relationships that will encourage you continue to grow in your faith.   Classes are divided by life stages to meet your particular needs.  Try out a couple of classes to find which one meets your needs.

Children

Childhood is an important time to get involved at church.  Learning the stories of the Bible is one part of that but also finding friends who you can depend on is vital.  Here are some ways kids can connect Sunday School, Children’s church, AWANA Clubs, Children’s camp, Kids Christmas musical, and various activities.

Youth

The teenage years are extremely challenging for both students and parents.  At Hopedale we want to partner with both of you to make this time of life meaningful and rewarding.  There are also many different activities and service opportunities that students can get involved in as well.  For more information see Ryan Davis.

Women

There are a several active women’s ministry groups that you can get involved in at any time. Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), Lady Travelers (widow and mature single women), Friendships in Faith (all women), and Ladies quilting group.

Men

Men are called to be the spiritual leaders of their households and we want all men to find a place to grow and serve.  Here are some ways that men can get involved at Hopedale. Men’s Prayer Breakfast, men’s monthly dinner trips, and men’s conference.

Senior Adults

We have a mature adult group called Speeders for those over the age of 55 that meets regularly for fellowship and fun.  Join them for their monthly lunch and entertainment.  Find their schedule under the events calendar.
